Our EDDM® postcards are printed on heavyweight gloss, matte, linen or UV cover in the five USPS Every Door Direct Mail® Retail sizes — 6.25″ × 9″, 6.5″ × 9″, 6.5″ × 12″, 8.5″ × 11″ and 9″ × 12″ — so every card meets USPS flat-size rules and qualifies for discounted EDDM postage.

Order from 25 up and choose Raised Spot UV (7 days) when you want the headline or logo to pop. Standard stocks print the same day. Every EDDM card is printed on both sides (the mailing side carries the USPS indicia), with square corners per USPS flat-mail rules.

Every EDDM postcard must be a USPS “flat”: taller than 6.125″ or longer than 11.5″, and no larger than 12″ × 15″. All five sizes below qualify.

6.25″ × 9″

Smallest EDDM size. File with bleed: 6.5″ × 9.25″.

6.5″ × 9″

Most popular. File with bleed: 6.75″ × 9.25″.

6.5″ × 12″

Long format for menus and coupons. File with bleed: 6.75″ × 12.25″.

8.5″ × 11″

Letter size for real estate and services. File with bleed: 8.75″ × 11.25″.

9″ × 12″

Largest format for maximum impact. File with bleed: 9.25″ × 12.25″.

Add 0.125″ bleed on all four sides and keep text 0.125″ inside the trim. On the mailing side, leave the bottom 0.625″ clear across the full width for the USPS barcode, and reserve a 4″ × 2″ area in the upper right for the EDDM indicia and “Local Postal Customer” text.

What is EDDM?

Every Door Direct Mail® is a USPS program that delivers your mailer to every address on selected carrier routes, with no names or mailing list. You choose routes online, print the mail pieces, and bring them to your local post office.

Which size should I choose?

6.5″ × 9″ is the most common EDDM size and the best value. Go larger (8.5″ × 11″ or 9″ × 12″) when you need room for menus, listings, or coupons.

Do you handle the mailing?

We print and cut the cards. You bundle them in stacks of 50–100, attach the USPS facing slips, and drop them at the post office for the routes you chose. Postage is paid to USPS at drop-off.

What is the minimum quantity?

USPS requires at least 200 pieces per route (and up to 5,000 per day per ZIP). We print from 25, so you can order a few extras for your counter or a proof run.

Can you add the indicia?

Leave the upper-right 4″ × 2″ area of the mailing side blank for the indicia and “Local Postal Customer” text, and keep the bottom 0.625″ clear for the barcode. USPS provides the indicia artwork when you set up your EDDM Retail mailing online.
